"Modern Family" is a brilliant sitcom enjoyed by all ages. It's presented as a mockumentary and follows the everyday lives of the everyday extended family, the Pritchetts. This book is one uber-fan's analysis of what makes the sitcom such a hit. Excellent writing and acting provide laughs week after week. But the show is deeper than a mere comedy. Every episode explores a variety of social issues with compassion, humor and love that embodies a true sense of family. Be warned, however. In order to analyze, the show has to be discussed. If you haven't watched the series yet, this novel is full of spoilers. But it's also an introduction to all things "Modern Family." It can be enjoyed.
